The story of an 8 year old boy who befriends a very special friend (unlike any other) his age when he hears a knock on his window. Their love for jalebis bonds them together but their companionship is short-lived as his new friend has to go. Will Ramish follow his friend?

The book, takes after the dastangoi tradition of South Asia, which is now lost and creates a stunning and fantastical world where magical creatures and an eight year old bpy go on adventures together, ask important questions and embark on a quest to find the answers,  which are sometimes difficult and occasionally funny.
